LADDIES SPORTSMEN’S CLUB - PROPERTY RULES
1. The club property is for members only. At no time shall the property be leased, rented, or used by nonmembers. The gate combination shall not be given out to nonmembers.

2. No member or members shall use the club property for personal profit.
​
3. Members wishing to reserve the club property for personal gatherings (weddings, anniversaries, family reunions, etc.) may do so by presenting their request before the Board at a regular scheduled Board Meeting. A one month advance notice is required so the reservation date can be put in the newsletter.

4. All members are expected to honor fellow member’s dates of club property reservation and not to disturb their gathering.

5. Any member using the club property is fully responsible for all damage, trash, targets, etc. on the grounds. Anyone found in violation of this rule will be subject to a fine not to exceed $100.00 plus damages. The Board will determine the amount of the fine based on the level of abuse. The membership will be advised of the penalty.

6. All guests must be with a member at all times while on the club property. Members are held fully responsible for all their guest’s actions.

7. The fire pit is located at the river’s edge and only there shall fires be built. Only wood and brush shall be burned on the property, at the fire pit.
​
8. The club property is not a dumping ground for leaves, yard waste, lawn clippings, etc. Brush brought out must be burned and not left to build up. Cut firewood shall be neatly stacked alongside the fire pit.

9. Camping at the club property is limited to three (3) consecutive nights only, and there is no exception to this rule.
​
10. The discharge of all firearms is to be on the range, while hunting, or for skeet shooting in the open area next to the range. Anyone found discharging or handling a firearm in an unsafe manner may be suspended from the club.

11. The range is closed during the regular firearm deer season (November 15-30).
​
12. From the gate, all the way into the club property and while on club property, a safe and slow speed is to be maintained (not to exceed 15 m.p.h.).
​
13. All members must take a short firearms safety course, offered by the club at no cost, before they are allowed to use the range or invite guests to the range. For liability reasons, this course is required of all members whether or not they use the range. Courses will be offered at regular intervals as long as the club has a certified instructor.

14. The range officer will oversee the SAFE OPERATION of the shooting range. He will observe and enforce the common rules of firearm safety, and must have taken and passed a firearm safety course.
REMINDER: Children are not the responsibility of the range officer, but of their parent/guardian.

15. There are to be no unattended children (under 18 yrs.) on the range at any time. Any member bringing children to the range will be fully responsible for them and in control of them at all times. At no time is a child to be down-range unattended.

16. Whenever three or more members - two members if one of them has children along - are using the range, a range safety officer is necessary. The range officer can be either a) an Officer or Trustee, b) a charter member, or c) an associate member if neither of the above are present. The range officer may not be the parent or guardian if any children present.

17. There are no exceptions to these rules. Anyone found in violation of the club property rules will be penalized by either a fine not to exceed $100.00 or expulsion from the club. The penalty will be decided by the Board and brought to the attention the membership at the next general me
